Are you into flexibility and independent learning? Our online courses provide a fully independent way of learning first aid in an online environment, where you can complete the course at your own pace, taking breaks as required and resuming whenever and wherever it suits you. This course format is ideal for those who need to fit the course around a busy schedule and are looking for a flexible way of learning.
Our online courses take place in a user-friendly digital learning environment. All you need is a computer, a mobile device or a tablet, as well as an internet connection.
The online learning experience is a diverse mixture of theory, exercises, videos and animations as well as independent practising. Participants will need to complete a mid-term assignment and a final assignment to pass the course.
Do you prefer to learn from an instructor but in your own environment? Webinars are interactive, real-time training events hosted by an instructor, which participants access remotely via a computer or a mobile device. Webinars are an ideal form of learning for those who want to complete the course without attending classes in person and to, for example, avoid travelling. Our webinars can be accessed from anywhere in Finland.
All you need is an internet connection as well as a device with video and sound capabilities to interact with the instructor and other participants.
The practical exercises are performed using supplies that you have at home and that would also be available in a real emergency.
Webinars are a location-independent alternative to attending a first aid course in person. You get the flexibility of taking part remotely without losing the benefit of learning from a knowledgeable instructor.
Are you someone who learns best by doing and interacting with others? Our classroom-based first aid courses are run by an instructor in a physical classroom where the participants are present in person. Classroom education lends itself well to learning both theory and practice, and the presence of other participants makes practical exercises easier to set up. Our classroom-based courses are the right choice for those who prefer to learn from an instructor in a group setting.
Classroom education provides an interactive, hands-on environment for learning first aid. Teaching aids include, for example, training manikins for a realistic experience when practicing resuscitation and defibrillator use.
Are you looking for a compromise between flexibility and structured learning? Our combination courses take the best parts of online learning and classroom education and turn them into a convenient way to learn first aid. A combination course is the perfect choice for those who want to learn the theory independently at their own pace and focus on practical exercises in the classroom.
Our combination courses consist of 50% independent online learning and 50% classroom education or webinars. Participants learn the theory in an online environment at their own pace, and then attend a physical class or a webinar to put what they have learned into practice.
Combination courses are all about flexibility: the online component can be completed independently, and the classroom component takes just one day.
Participants on a combination course have six months to complete the course. Both the online learning and the classroom education elements must be completed.
